APOPO seeks a qualified Finance and Administration Manager to be based at its office in Tanzania. Reporting to the CEO, the position will be responsible for managing the finance and administration department in the organization.

Animal Welfare
Identify indicators and develop measures for the improvement of the physiological and psychological well-being of the Cricetomys in APOPO's training and research program.
Expected duration: 4 months - 4 years, long term commitment preferred
Profile: Masters level or above in Animal welfare or related fields

Etogram of Cricetomys
Identify Cricetomys typical behaviours and use this information to improve training and breeding procedures at APOPO.
Expected duration: 4 months - 4 years, long term commitment preferred

(Bio-)Statistician
Organize and analyse performance data for ongoing training activities and specific experiments.
Expected duration: Long term commitment preferred

Bio Medical Researcher
Oversee Research and Development activities in the APOPO Tuberculosis detection program;
Expected duration: Long term commitment preferred
Profile: Phd or Medical degree

Behavioural researcher
Study the impact of early neurological stimulation on the subsequent performance of the Cricetomys in scent detection
Expected duration: 1 year - 4 years
Profile: Masters level or above in behavioural sciences

Grant co-ordinator
Asses research funding opportunities, write grant proposal and administer funded projects
Expected duration: 1 year - 4 years
Profile: Masters level or above with substantial experience in obtaining and managing extramural funds
